Styrene acrylonitrile -SAN is a copolymer plastic consisting of styrene and acrylonitrile. It is widely used in place of polysty - rene owing to its greater thermal resistance. The relative composition is typically between 70 and 80% styrene and 20 to 30% acrylonitrile. Larger acrylonitrile content improves mechanical properties and chemical resistance these extruded copolymer sheets are highly resistant to water absorption as well.
We also provide SAN solid UV2 sheets which are co-extruded by UV coating on both the sides of the sheets which provide an extra protection to weathering and environmental conditions.
