Gulf Acrylic Industries LLC moved to the Sohar Industrial Estate and installed the 1st Omipa line with a capacity of 5000 tons per annum and a Cincinnati PVC sheet production line.
Shamal Plastics Industries LLC was established. Shamal commenced the commercial production of Acrylic and PVC sheets.
The 2nd Omipa line was installed with an additional capacity of 8000 tons per annum. Total capacity increased to 13000 tons per annum.
Disposal of PVC production process due to low demand in the proximity market.
1st Sheet Profile machine installed. Comi make Thermoforming machine installed.
1st Mirror sheet production plant installed.
2nd line of the profile sheet installed.
3rd Omipa line installed with a capacity of 12000 tons per annum. Total capacity increased to 25000 tons per annum. 2nd Production unit of the Thermoplastics Mirror sheet was installed.
Gulf Acrylic Industries LLC merged with Shamal Plastic Industries LLC and now operates under the name of Shamal Plastic Industries LLC.
